The Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) Clinic is a program of the National Autism Center and May Institute. The ASD Clinic offers diagnostic evaluations and therapeutic treatment services to children and adolescents with ASD and their families. Our experienced clinicians offer services that include standardized assessments, behavioral treatment, social skills development, and parent support.
The National Autism Center (NAC) is May Institute's Center for the promotion of Evidence-Based Practice. NAC is dedicated to providing resources for families, practitioners, and communities. In 2009, NAC completed the National Standards Project (NSP), establishing a set of standards for effective, research-validated educational and behavioral interventions for children on the spectrum.
The resulting Report is the most comprehensive analysis available regarding treatments for children and adolescents with ASD There are two training manuals available that reflect NSP's best practices tailored to educators and parents. A third manual, tailored to pediatricians, is currently in production.
